Emergency services are responding to a major incident with police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance on the scene.
Witnesses said it was believed paramedics were attending to a possible stab victim in a park, although this has yet to be confirmed by police.
The scene unfolded just after 8pm this evening, Saturday, July 27, in Plashet Park, Manor Park, east London.
A witness told Express.co.uk: “There are about 15 police cars, several ambulance vehicles and the air ambulance has landed while a police helicopter is circling above.
“The paramedics and police are around at least one person who is injured on the floor. I got told it was a stabbing, but I'm not certain.
“Two police officers are holding up a sheet to obscure the view while the paramedics attend to the person.
“I have seen a forensic tent being put up, so it doesn't look good.”
Express.co.uk has contacted the Met Police, London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance and awaits responses.
