The Labor Party has suspended one of its councilors over “completely unacceptable” comments made during a counter-demonstration last night.
Ricky Jones, an elected councilor in Dartford, was filmed ranting that the far-right should have their throats cut.
Speaking to the crowd, he raved: “They are disgusting Nazi fascists. And we need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all!”
He was cheered by the anti-racism protesters.
Reacting to the clip, Nigel Farage said the comments should result in the man's arrest, and argued if he is not it will be proof of “two-tier policing”.
A Labor Party spokesperson has now told the Express that Mr. Jones has been suspended.
They said: “This behavior is completely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated. The councilor has been suspended from the party”.
