A six-month-old baby has died after suffering ‘breathing difficulties’ while on holiday with her British parents in Turkey.
The parents called for emergency help after the baby girl started having trouble breathing while the family was staying in the Mediterranean resort of Antalya.
The family were on a break at a five-star hotel in Serik, a town in Antalya in the south of the country, when the parents called for help, with local media reporting that despite the efforts of hospital staff, the child could not be saved.
The Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute is carrying out an investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
