A social media user has revealed their perfect sleeping quarters and it's far from the typical “dream house” most of us fancy.
The individual showcased a photo of their humble abode with the caption “my living space”, which only includes minimal decor except two framed shots of the Hollywood star Colin Farrell. This rather unusual detail had X users debating over the eccentric room.
As they chimed in with their varied opinions, many argued that the bedroom posters and absent bed frame gave the room its unique charm.
A single pillow and lack of duvet also had some people asking: “What more do you need?” Very little, according to several users.
Others were inspired to post pictures of their own living space, and many also boasted posters of Colin Farrell. Others simply “liked” or praised the photo, which had been viewed a staggering 220.5k times at the time of writing.
One wrote: “This is my dream house.” Another added: “It's all you need.” “My girlfriend would love this so much…” another wrote. “In Bruges was life changing for both of us.”
Other users were left wondering where the poster had got the photos of the Banshees of Inisherin star.
This comes after the internet was left divided over a £1.5million property in Scotland that some dubbed a “dollhouse”.
The six-bedroom Scottish property caught the eye on Rightmove, prompting a Reddit user to ask others for their thoughts on its appearance in the SpottedOnRightmove subreddit.
Described by estate agents Corum as “commanding outstanding panoramic views over the city” of Glasgow, it “is set within landscaped grounds, set behind two sets of electric gates with horseshoe driveway”.
Offering a canopied entrance as well as other features including “an integrated comms/sound system, beautiful tiled floors with underfloor heating”, its most intriguing aspect is the large picture windows, which provide a glimpse inside every room from the outside.
Simply captioned “A Dollhouse”, one user responded to its images: “This is my nightmare. I really hate the idea of people being able to see into my house, I feel like my own home should be private and I shouldn't have to worry about anyone looking at me when I'm chilling on the sofa in my pants. This isn't even isolated enough to provide privacy, it looks like there's a whole bunch of buildings that'd be able to see in.”
But some Reddit users admitted that they appreciated the property's unique design. “Honestly I really like big windows,” one person commented. “It's the feeling of spaciousness, to immerse in sunshine, to enjoy the scenery while relaxing at home.
