By turning yourself invisible and chucking some poison pots, you can beat Shadow Of The Erdtree’s unforgiving final boss in just three minutes.
There’s no doubting it, Elden Ring is a difficult game to beat. But at the same time, with the right tactic – or by taking advantage of glitches – parts of it can be brushed aside fairly easily.
There are many examples of experienced fans defeating the game with relative ease, such as beating bosses in the expansion Shadow Of The Erdtree with a saxophone and a dance mat.
One fan has now found a way to beat Shadow Of The Erdtree’s final boss without even being seen or touched, and it’s surprisingly easy to do. Although be aware, there are serious spoilers ahead…
YouTuber Sheng Qian found the strategy on Chinese video sharing platform Bilibili, which shows how you can take down Promised Consort Radahn in just three minutes.
The first trick is to use both the Assassin’s Gambit Ash Of War skill and the Unseen Form sorcery, which makes you near invisible.
In the video below, Qian enters the arena, where Radahn is unable to see him. Once Radahn has turned away, he runs along the wall to the left, until he gets to the the far north-west corner, while applying the invisibility spells when needed.
Once at the north-west corner of the arena, he finds a specific spot close to Radahn, where he chucks two hefty poison pots and one hefty rot pot at the boss.
He then uses Mimic’s Veil, which turns him into a statue, while Radahn takes enough damage to enter the second phase of the fight.
As the battle continues after a cut scene, Qian’s character is still hidden to the boss as a statue, and after a while Radahn will simply walk off and lose all his health points.
This is quite similar to when Twitch streamer Saintone beat Radahn, when the final boss just wandered off mid-fight, after he had spent three hours trying to fell the mighty foe.
It’s a very easy way to beat the ending of Shadow Of The Erdtree, but an equally unrewarding way to finish the story.
