THE UFC are set to make their latest press conference a “special” one, it’s been claimed.
Mixed martial arts’ premier promotion hosts its historic 300th pay-per-view card this weekend in Las Vegas.
UFC 300 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The iconic card will be headlined by an eagerly-anticipated light-heavyweight title fight between champion Alex Pereira and former titleholder Jamahal Hill.
Pereira and Hill are just two of the TEN former or current undisputed champions in action on the Sin City extravaganza.
Belts galore will be on show during Friday morning’s pre-fight press conference.
And according to former featherweight king Max Holloway, the promotion plan will go above and beyond for the presser.
He said on his YouTube channel last Sunday: “The hard part is done and the fun time comes next week.
“We get to do all the media and all the bells and whistles that come with fight week.
“It’s going to be huge. I’ve heard they’ve got something special planned for the press conference.

‘So yeah, I’m looking forward to fight week.
The UFC have yet to give any indication of a change to their pre-fight press conference protocol.
But given the magnitude of the event, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that they do indeed do something “special” for the presser.
Fan favourite Holloway will take part in arguably the most-anticipated fight on the card.
‘Blessed’ will throw down with former intern lightweight champion Justin Gaethje.
The pair will vie for the BMF title fight, which Gaethje won in emphatic fashion against Dustin Poirier last July.
Holloway, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since his brutal one-punch KO of the recently retired Chang Sung Jung last August.
