BBC series Sort Your Life Out, fronted by former X Factor star Stacey Solomon, has been hugely popular with viewers but now her co-star has issued a plea to fans
Stacey Solomon’s hit BBC show Sort Your Life Out has been confirmed for a new series, with one of her co-stars sharing an emotional update on its future.
The beloved decluttering programme, which has drawn in millions of viewers and won a National Television Award, was previously shrouded in doubt regarding its continuation.
Since its debut in November 2021, the show has seen Stacey, aged 35, and her team work wonders in cluttered homes throughout the UK, assisting families in making tough decisions about their possessions.
Despite five successful seasons, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of further instalments. In a recent Instagram post, Dilly Carter, the organising guru from the show, urged fans to show their support for the show’s return to the BBC.

Dilly posted a photo with her colleagues and a family they had helped, captioning it: “Sort Your Life Out series 1 bounced onto our screens in November 2021. Who remembers Steph and her gorgeous girls?” reports Essex Live.
She continued, revealing exciting developments: “Fast forward to this week, May 2025 and we are about to start filming for series 6.
“The show has been streamed all over the world millions of times and in that time we have won 2 major TV awards, a @royaltelevisionsociety and a @officialntas and next Sunday we go to the @bafta for our second nomination.”
Expressing gratitude to her supporters and sharing a candid confession, Dilly said: “Who knows maybe this time we could win? Fingers crossed. The show goes from strength to strength and that’s only possible because of YOU the viewer supporting it so THANK YOU.
“But this could be our last series if you don’t apply. We need families of all shapes and sizes to apply.
“Do you need the declutter of a lifetime? Would you like us to be coming to your home to STRIP, SORT and SYSTEMISE? If so apply today. The link is in my bio. It will be the best decision you ever make to get back in control of your home.”
Upon reading Dilly’s post, some followers proposed ideas for the show’s future direction, with one commenting: “Love the show and the life-changing impact. How about opening up to single people too? There are many living alone who find it even harder to get out of the mess they find themselves in and find help hard to ask for.”
There were also calls for the show to check back in with families who had featured in previous episodes.
Meanwhile, Stacey has been keeping herself occupied as she and her spouse Joe Swash, 43, gave viewers a personal glimpse into their domestic life with their five children by allowing cameras inside their residence.
Their programme, Stacey and Joe, which debuted in April, provides viewers with a peek into their daily lives – encompassing everything from work and parenting to friendships, family dynamics, holidays, and personal challenges. The series also delves into more profound topics like couples therapy and mental health, including Joe’s ADHD diagnosis.
