Vicky Pattison has confessed that she experiences “some sort of guilt” when she allows her Strictly Come Dancing partner to carry out one particular task. Her “touching” revelation emerged during a recent instalment of the Get A Grip podcast alongside fellow Strictly contestant Angela Scanlon (who took part in the 2023 series), who playfully offered to massage co-host Vicky’s feet during their chat.
Vicky, who’s been paired with English dance professional Kai Widdrington, insisted that nobody needs to handle her “trotters”, which led her to disclose that her dance partner must carry out a specific duty for her on the programme.
She revealed she has “awful” toes and experiences a feeling of “guilt” when Kai performs this particular job. The Geordie Shore personality suggested that it even involves Kai doing something she typically only permits her husband to do.
Vicky, who’s wed to The Only Way is Essex’s Ercan Ramadan, explained: “Nobody has to touch my trotters. What is it, Kai puts me shoes on for us because I can’t do them. They’re really hard; I’m not just a f*****g moron.”
Angela acknowledged they’re a “bit tricky”, but pointed out that her previous dance partner, Carlos Gu, never fastened hers. This prompted a “hairy” remark from Vicky, who confessed that she dies “inside” each time he handles her feet.
She revealed: “Kai puts me….and I always just die inside every time he touches me feet. I’ve got like hairy toes and that. They’re awful.”
Angela subsequently suggested she should shave them. Vicky responded: “I didn’t ever; my sister always called them my Hobbit feet, and I was just like, ‘I’m f*****g fine with this’. And like now, a fella who isn’t my husband’s touching them, and I feel some sort of guilt.”
Angela chipped in by observing that she didn’t fancy being squeezed into a “little Latin shoe” with a “big hairy stub” poking out.
Vicky declared that nobody wanted to witness her “toe pubes”, causing both women to erupt in fits of laughter. Vicky wrapped up by offering an apology to Kai.
The reality star, who made her BBC debut last weekend, managed to secure a respectable 23 points for her performance alongside Kai.
Taking to Instagram, she revealed she was “still on a HIGH” following the programme and questioned whether supporters were looking forward to the upcoming episode.
She continued: “I have mixed feelings.. Just wanted to say, thank you for all your kind messages and words of encouragement- it honestly means so much, especially to a nervous little bear like me.”
Her fans soon shared words of support with the reality star. One fan commented: “So excited to watch you guys again.” A second person wrote: “You’re gonna be incredible again! ! Cheering you on all the way.”
You can next catch Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One on Saturday, October 4, from 6.18pm to 8.45pm.
