The Traitors fans have been left thrilled at his involvement
Comedian Ed Gamble has teased some unexpected surprises for fans of The Celebrity Traitors, hinting at ‘Easter eggs’ in the upcoming series.
The show, which sees a host of famous faces enter a castle for a game of deception, kicked off with presenter Claudia Winkleman selecting her traitors from the celebrity line-up.
Among the participants are YouTuber Niko Omilana, actress Ruth Codd, writer Stephen Fry, TV personality Jonathan Ross and comedian Alan Carr, to name but a few.
The reality show’s companion series, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, also makes a return, offering viewers an even deeper dive into the action on BBC Two immediately after the main show concludes.
Extended versions of the show are available for audiences to enjoy via the BBC Sounds app, where host Ed Gamble delves into all the drama from the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors, reports the Daily Record.

He will be joined by special guests, including ousted players, to get the inside scoop on all the backstabbing and treachery that unfolds within the castle walls.
The first episode saw him welcome past players to share their reactions and expert analysis on the game, including Traitors Wilf from season one, Harry from season two and Minah from season three.
They explored Claudia’s selection of Traitors, discussing which contestants they reckon will survive until the finale and identifying which celebrity might possess that crucial advantage required to master the game.
Nevertheless, Ed also revealed that some minor adjustments are coming. These should prove thrilling for audiences as the podcast presenter disclosed he will be delivering those pivotal Traitor revelations to each participant upon their departure from the programme.
He clarified: “Things on Uncloaked will remain mostly the same but with some added fun. I got to go up to The Traitors castle in Scotland and exclusively reveal to the banished and murdered Faithful who the Traitors are straight after they left the game.”
That’s not the only change. In a format shake-up, Ed also unveiled a significant enhancement to the main programme.
He continued: “And here’s something fun for the new season – I’m in it. Not just on Uncloaked but I actually feature in this series of Celebrity Traitors as a fun Easter egg or Easter Ed if you like. See if you can spot me.”
One of Ed’s contributors, Minah, appeared genuinely stunned by this revelation. However, the comedian refused to share further particulars about his on-screen appearance in the main show. Audiences will need to watch closely for developments.
The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
