The Strictly Come Dancing favourite was supported by fans after the career announcement.
A Strictly Come Dancing star has landed a major new role, after being forced to quit the BBC competition.
Earlier this series, La Voix, who made history as the first Drag Queen on the main show, was forced to skip Blackpool week and withdraw from the rest of the Strictly season after suffering an injury.
She later took to Instagram to share her heartbreak, saying: “I’m absolutely devastated to be withdrawing from Strictly Come Dancing. This isn’t the glittering exit I ever imagined, and it breaks my heart to feel like I’m letting people down. My spirit wanted to keep dancing but my foot has other ideas!
“Thank you for every cheer, every vote, and every sparkle of support – it’s meant the world to me. This isn’t the ending I imagined, but I’ll cherish forever.”

However, just weeks later, La Voix has announced a major career move, as she’ll be joining Helen Skelton on Morning Live on December 16.
The BBC announced: “Setting the stage for a show where anything can happen, viewers can expect sparkle, festive mischief, and the kind of joyful chaos only La Voix can deliver.
“Fresh from the glittering ballroom of Strictly Come Dancing, La Voix will bring her signature wit, warmth, and unstoppable energy to the Morning Live studio.”
La Voix also said: “To be sitting on the Morning Live sofa is nothing short of fabulous. If you’re expecting a calm and quiet morning then you clearly haven’t met me! I’m thrilled to be joining Helen – and Britain – bright and early. Get ready for festive fun, and no doubt a little mayhem!”
Former Strictly star Helen added: “I can’t wait to welcome La Voix to Morning Live. She’s full of energy, full of heart, and just the right amount of chaos for the festive season. It’s going to be huge fun, and I know our audience are in for a treat.”
Fans rushed to share their well wishes after the news was shared across social media, with one writing: “Brilliant! Can’t wait! Xx.”
Another said: “OH MY GAAAAD!!! This is amazing!!” while a third wrote: “Yaaaaaaas – the perks of working from home.”
Someone else added: “YESSS! Looks like putting your CV in for strictly might pay off after all.”
This comes after La Voix celebrated another major career move, as revealed she’ll be starring as Miss Hannigan in a tour of Annie across London, Birmingham, Manchester, Plymouth and Canterbury.
The role has previously been held by the late Paul O’Grady and Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Strictly stars and fans were among those throwing congratulatory messages her way, with Amber Davies writing: “HELL YES QUEEN,” while Layton Williams said: “Oh this is FAB!”
La Voix joins Helen Skelton on Morning Live on December 16 on BBC One and iPlayer.
