Fire crews are at the scene of a major blaze at an industrial estate this evening, January 9. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service is dealing with an ongoing incident in Bangor, County Down, with multiple appliances in attendance and large plumes of smoke reported.
The fire is understood to have broken out at a car dealership in the Balloo Industrial Estate, our sister publication BelfastLive reports. Motorists and nearby residents are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services remain on scene, with the PSNI advising residents to “keep windows closed” due to the smoke.
