Ukraine has destroyed a key military base in the Russian region of Krasnodar in a significant blow to Vladimir Putin's war effort.
Satellite images show the warehouse – used to launch Iranian-made drones and train cadets – reduced to rubble.
Training instructors and cadets were also killed in the strike on Friday, according to Ukraine's Navy.
Officials said in a statement: “New satellite images confirm the destruction on the night of June 21 of the Shahed-136/Geran-2 storage and preparation facilities, training buildings, control and communication points of these UAVs located in the Krasnodar Territory.
“In addition to the means of destruction, qualified instructors were also destroyed, who trained the personnel for the maintenance of the 'Shahed-136/Gheran-2' launches and those cadets who were trained to strike on the territory of Ukraine with the help of Iranian unmanned systems.”
