Emmerdale fans have predicted there could be another twist in store for Noah Dingle if he does end up going to prison for stalking Chloe Harris. In Friday’s episode Charity Dingle reported her son to the police after discovering his obsession with his ex-girlfriend.
In scenes which aired on last week’s Yorkshire soap, in a week of special episodes, Chloe (Jessie Elland) learnt it was actually Noah (Jack Downham) – and not Jacob – who had broken into her home and stolen her diary. She then discovered he’d been spying on her, and had pictures which were stored on his laptop, including audio files as the 18-year-old had bugged her bedroom and put a tracker on her phone.
When she confronted Noah about the images and why he had stolen her keys to access to her home, he refused to let her leave and his mum Charity Dingle walked in on him holding Chloe down on the floor with his hand over her mouth. Despite apologising to his mum for his actions, the police arrived to take him down to the station.
In scenes on Monday night’s soap, Noah was seen being questioned by the police, before he was later released. It was then that Charity revealed she was the one who had handed him in. He called her a “bad mum” and a “two-faced cow”, before telling her he wished she “was dead”.
Fans of the soap have been sharing their thoughts on the storyline all week, with many now thinking there could be another twist in store. Chloe originally arrived in the village to escape her gangster father Damon, who was controlling her from prison and after her recent terrifying ordeal, she keeps referring to how Noah’s behaviour was similar to her dad’s.
Viewers think if Noah ends up going to prison for his actions, he could end up in big trouble. Word is sure to reach Chloe’s dad, or he could end up being in the same prison. Taking to Twitter, one viewer Myley wrote: “If Noah goes to prison tho he will be locked up with bails and Chloe’s dad #Emmerdale”.
Westie added: “Rumours and what Noah’s been doing will spread and it won’t be long before the public knowledge gets to Chloe’s dad…. #Emmerdale @emmerdale”. Yvonne posted: “Noah better be careful Chloe dad in prison who appears to have vanished off face of earth #Emmerdale”
It comes after the recent storyline has had many viewers questioning what happened to Chloe’s dad and why he hasn’t been mentioned since Kerry and Chloe moved to the village back in last year. Steff took to Twitter saying: “Remember the whole Chloe’s dad storyline that just vanished? Maybe now we’re finally going to get to find out who he is? #emmerdale”.
Sarah added: “Still don’t know what the point of the whole Chloe’s dad storyline was. #emmerdale” and Georgia added: “#Emmerdale What’s happened to Chloe’s mystery gangster father who Kerry said would rip Noah to shreds?”.
