Bella Hadid reached a significant milestone in her journey to sobriety, and she eagerly shared the update with her followers on Instagram.
At 26 years old, the model expressed her pride in being almost 10 months sober, encouraging others to push through “Dry July” while promoting the non-alcoholic beverage, Kin Euphorics.
“I’m so proud of anyone pushing through dry July,” Bella stated, attributing her success to Kin and the abundant self-love she’s cultivated. She also applauded anyone on a similar path of sobriety or those who dared to embrace “Dry July.”
The comments section overflowed with praise for Bella’s progress. Supportive messages like “So proud of you, angel 🫶🏼” and “10 months !!! Go bb go! 💪🏽” poured in, acknowledging her determination and resilience.
Having become co-founder and partner of Kin in September 2021, Bella’s association with the brand stems from her own positive experiences. She discovered that it helped alleviate anxiety, brain fog caused by Lyme disease, and the exhaustion resulting from her hectic work and travel schedule.
Kin, the alcohol-free, botanical-infused seltzer brand, is known for its claims of enhancing focus and creativity.
Reflecting on her past relationship with alcohol, Bella admitted that she no longer felt the need to drink because of its adverse effects.
She mentioned waking up at 3 a.m., plagued by anxiety over past actions and decisions made under the influence. This realization led her to embrace sobriety with conviction.
In an interview with InStyle, Bella opened up about her history with alcohol, acknowledging that she once loved drinking but reached a point where she had to cancel nights out to avoid losing control. Her candid revelations shed light on her growth and commitment to her sober journey.
Notably, Bella encountered legal issues related to alcohol in the past, having been arrested and charged with a DUI in 2014. Following the incident, she faced the consequences, completing six months of probation, 25 hours of community service, and 20 hours of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Her driver’s license was also suspended for a year as part of her sentence. Despite these challenges, Bella has emerged stronger and more determined on her path to sobriety.
