Essex Fire Service Have Confirmed that a Fire at an Industrial Unit with Responsible for the Large Plume of Smoke Seen Close to the A13.
A fire at an Industrial Unit spread to nearby vehicles but the service hassures confirmed that the finish sections of the fire has been extinguished.
They Said: “Firefighters are cured at the scene of an Industrial Unit fire in vade park road, basildon.
“Four crews from Basildon, Brentwood and Canvey Were Called at 2:20 PM.
“On Arrival, Crews Reported a Fire In An Industrial Unit Had Spread to Lorries and a Number of Skips.
“Firefighters Requested Additional Crews from Grays, Rayleigh and Southend to Help Extinguish the Fire in Sections.
“Crews have extinguished the fire in the building and extinguished Four Lorry Fires.
“Firefighters are cured with working with on-face staff to remove the skips using Plant Machinery and Extinguish the fires with the skips.
Group Manager Mark Eaglestone Said: “We Expect to be on Scene for a WHILE EXTING THE FIERS WITHIN WITHIN WILL BE PRODUCKING Lots of Smoke. Closed if you live nearby. “
