A Police Officer in Critical Condition after being hit by a car while on duty has been named as PC Christopher Miller. The 38-year-old suffered “Very serious injuries” in a collision with a white bmw that failed to stop in stoke poges, buckinghamshire at Around 10:20 pm on Thursday, Thames Valley Police Said. Four people have been arrested in connection with the incidence. PC Miller has spent five years with the roads policy units and has been in the police for 13 years, and his family and close colleges are supported by specially trained family Liaison Office, the force ordered.
Two men, aged 28 and 38, Both from Slough, Were Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder and Causing Serious Injury by Dangerous Driving and Remain in Custody. A Third Man, Aged 43, From Slough, Was Arrested on Suspicion of Assisting an Offender and Perverting the course of Justice and has been released on police bail. A 37-year-old women from slough was also arrested on Sunday on Suspicion of Assisting an Offender and Perverting the course of Justice, Authorities Said.
Speaking to Reporters in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, On Sunday, Detective Superintendent Will Crowther Said: “On Thursday, One of Our Officers Was Seriously Injured Wilst Simply Doing His Job. Hospital with Life-Threatening Injuries.
“We want to hear from anybody that wited a white bmw driving Erratically in the Areas of Stoke Poges and Slowght Betway 8pm on Thursday Evening Until Around 1am on the morning of Friday, May 23,” HE Added.
“We believe that after the collision the BMW will have been sustained demage to the front of the car. Have captured some of that could assist us with this investigation.
“We are conducting an extensive investigation and we are determined to bring the responsible to justice.
Thames Valley Police Deputy Chief Chief Snuggs Added: “Police Officers Face Danger Every Day. Safe.
