UFC star Angela Hill couldn’t help but laugh after an official dropped her bra inserts during her fight weigh-in.
Hill, 40, weighed in at 116 pounds as she stepped on the scale ahead of her fight with Iasmin Lucindo on Saturday night.
Before stepping on the scale, Hill removed two inserts from her bra and handed them to the official in order to not have them included in her weight.
The weight official seemingly didn’t know what to do and began searching for somewhere suitable to rest the inserts down.
He landed on putting them on top of the scale podium but saw one of them fall off and onto the floor.
The awkward moment left Hill with her head in her hands and trying to hold back a fit of laughter.
Her reaction earned her plenty of plaudits online, with one fan writing: “She was dope for doing that, scored points with me on personality.”
And another adding: “She handled that with as much class as could be possible in that situation. I am now a big fan.”
Hill was unable to put up a victory for her newfound fans as she ultimately fell to a unanimous decision defeat to Lucindo on Saturday evening.
The loss means that Hill now has an 18-15-0 record.
Opponent Lucindo, 23, had labelled the fight as “crazy” beforehand, claiming Hill was almost as old as her mother.
She said: “It is crazy. I won’t lie to you, it is very crazy. It’s something that makes me go like, ‘My God, she’s almost my mother’s age.’ My mother is 43.
“But I respect Angela a lot. Before I was in the UFC, before I was fighting, she was already fighting, she was already building her story.
“I’ve watched Angela fight many times before I was in the UFC, and I know the athlete she is and the story she has built. I’m very happy.
“Imagine watching someone and then you’re fighting her. That’s a great accomplishment”.
