This Morning’s Cat Deeley has returned to social media for the first time since revealing her separation from husband Patrick Kielty.
As the presenter prepares to return to the ITV daytime show next week following her summer hiatus, the This Morning team mentioned Cat in a post, which she subsequently re-posted on her Stories.
Cat and co-host Ben Shephard are the principal presenters of the daytime programme, though they have been away during the summer holidays.
Several famous faces, including Andi Peters, Emma Willis, Rochelle Humes, and Craig Doyle, filled in as temporary hosts.
Prior to her Monday (September 1) comeback, Cat has switched her Instagram account back on, reports the Mirror.
After being mentioned in a post encouraging fans to support This Morning at the forthcoming NTAs, Cat re-posted the footage on her Stories.
The video features her and co-presenter Ben Shephard enjoying themselves on set, with one moment capturing Cat playing around with a lightsaber.
The ITV show has been shortlisted for Best Daytime at the National Television Awards next month. The ceremony, which will air live on ITV1 on Wednesday, September 10, is scheduled for that day.
This follows Cat and Patrick Kielty’s announcement of their surprise separation last month. In a joint statement, they said: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated.
“There is no other party involved. We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”
The pair, who wed in 2012, share two sons: James, seven, and Milo, nine. Earlier this month, photographs secured by the Daily Mail revealed Cat savouring her break from This Morning.
The former CD:UK presenter was seen enjoying a meal in Sitges, a coastal town near Barcelona, notably without her wedding band.
The fashionable television personality sported a halter-neck frock paired with gold sandals.
She was pictured in this ensemble whilst out with a male companion, who has subsequently been named as celebrity stylist Ben Skervin.
