Wales U18s take on France U18s in the second round of the U18s Six Nations Festival in Vichy this afternoon (3.15pm). You can watch the match live on the WRU’s YouTube channel here.
Richie Pugh’s side got their campaign off to a flying start with a convincing 34-15 victory over Scotland U18s on Good Friday.
But this will be a far tougher challenge against a France side who beat Georgia 49-22 last week.
Pugh has made 11 changes to his starting XV as he looks to give game time to as many players as possible in this competition.
Unlike games at U20s or senior level these will last 70 minutes.
“Playing France in France, boys don’t get that many opportunities to do that across their career, so it is great to experience that,” said Pugh.“We know it is a strong dangerous French side, Georgia did cause them problems at times when they played the other day but the focus is on us.
