CONOR McGREGOR made Jeremy Stephens an overnight embarrassment – now he is his boss and being called out to fight.
McGregor shared the UFC 205 press conference table with Stephens in 2016 when he produced one of his most iconic lines.
Stephens, addressing the Irishman, said: “Right here, the hardest hitting 145lber.
“The real hardest-hitting 145er. This guy TKOs people. When I knock people out, they don’t f***ing move.”
McGregor looked back at Stephens and infamously replied: “Who the f*** is that guy?”
Now, Stephens is signed to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship which is co-owned by McGregor.
And he told MMA Fighting: “I got a boss now in Conor McGregor, who is writing my cheques. I could potentially be fighting my own boss!
“There’s a lot of people out there who want that Conor fight, but if he was ever to come over to bare-knuckle, I’m on a hot streak, get the ball f***ing rolling.
“I would love to be that f***ing guy to welcome him to bare-knuckle. I don’t get tired. I can take a f***ing shot.
“I’ve been in the f***ing game. I would love to max out that opportunity and put myself into those opportunities.

“Day by day, brick by brick, it will come.”
McGregor himself opened the door to the fight in bare-knuckle in the future.
Stephens, 38, left the UFC in 2021 and crossed over from MMA to bare-knuckle this year.
And he moved to 2-0 with BKFC Bobby Taylor and once again called out McGregor.
He said: “I would love to continue fighting here, and f*** Conor McGregor.
“Who wouldn’t love to beat up their f***ing boss, baby? I’m living the dream.”
McGregor, 36, has not fought since 2021 when he broke his leg but he was due to return on June 29 against Michael Chandler, 38.
But a toe injury forced him out with a rescheduled date yet to be announced.
