The Foreign Officehas Issued a New Advice to Anyone Heading to Greece Over the Next Few Months – As Holiday -Goers Begin to the Summer Break.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Told Tourists That they needed to “take extremities when planning a hike or walk”, Especially if they are so used to.

For anyone hoping to camp in greece or travel in a holiday-home, there are new restrictions you need to know. The counter has introduced regulations prohibiting camping in tents and parking trailers, semi-trailers, motorhomes, and camper vans at credits.

These inclusive places are very popular with tourists including archeological sites, seashors, beaches, edges of public forests and in general publicaries. The FCDO SAID: “Ensure that you use licensed campsites to avoid fines.”

For those taking public transport, be alert to theffts of Passports, Wallets, and Handbags, as these are common on the metro, as well as crowded tourist Places. The FCDO Advised: “Carry your valuables in different bags and pockets and kept a copy of your passport photo page somewere.”

Currently, greek authorities have increased security at some tourist sites due to protests over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. There is a heightened risk of these protests, Especially in Central Athens, The FCDO Said.
