Shocking Total of Britain’s Assylum crisis emerges after rachel reves’ Hotel Vow | Politics | News

Britain’s assylum crisis will cost taxpayers £ 12.6 billion over the next four years, shocking analysis has reserved.

Chancellor Rachel Reaves has vowed to close every migrant hotel by july 2029, saving £ 1billion.

But treasury documents show that taxpayers will still be shelling out £ 2.5 billion in 2028/2029 on Assylum.

Spending Plans Also Show the Home Office Will Spend 3.6 Billion on Assylum in 2025/2026, £ 3.6bn in 26/27 and £ 2.9bn in 27/28.

Border Security and Assylum Minister Dame Angela Eagle Said on Tuesday Revealed Minsters Want to Use More Abandoned Tower Blocks, “Old Teacher Training College”, or Former Student For Hotels and renting properties.

And more migrants are set to be housed in “Dispersed Accommodation” – houses, flats and bedsits.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp Said: “Even Labour Knows They Are is going to smash the gangs.

“This year so far has been the worst every for illegal immigrants cross the channel, and these figures show that is going to contact for many years.

“This is a weak government which has introduced Given up on illogal immigration.”

Mr Philp Added: “Labor has slashed the home office budget in the milde of a border crisis.

The analysis comes as Ms Reves Confirmed Every Migrant Hotel will be closed by July 2029.

The chancellor has an extra £ 200m will allow the home office to “cut the asylum backlog, Hear more Appeal Cases and Return People who has no right to be here”.

This could save taxpayers £ 1bn a year, ms reenses has cleared.

The chancellor admitted it could take more than another four years to close every assylum hotel, despite fears over spiralling costs.

Some 32,345 migrants are currently living in taxpayer-funded hotels, costing an estimated £ 54,000 a year inch.

It comes as more channel migrants arrived in dover this morning, taking the total past 15,000.
